AZ B772 operating FCO-EZE made forced landing in REC at 2h15 local time due to mechanical problems. The flight had 295 passengers onboard. The aircraft is still in remote position in REC undergoing mechanical check. All pax remain in REC waiting for a solution since the airline has no resources to accommodate them in other flights. AZ decided to send another aircraft to REC and the aircraft is expected to land in REC at 18h local time. I am surprised that AZ had such high loads as it may go bankrupt at any time. Bugger it. I am teaching at the airport (taxi drivers) Mon to Fri 09.00 to 11.00 and 16.00 to 18.00 Heard nothing of it until I saw this. Oh how nice to see a T7 here something different for a change. If you only fo the wrong reasons
