It has been reported that Spanish charter airline FUTURA has been grounded and that all aircraft including aircraft leased to other companies are being ferried to PMI. Any update on this would be helpfull.

Just heard from my office in DUB that it is due to financial problems and that many passengers are stranded at DUB and in many Spanish resorts.

Sad this, I flew on EI-DKD twice in 2006 and what can i say. They were a great airline. they evan had an map on the...what do you call them? PTV's?. Will miss this airline.

Yeah there where great. i flew with them to tenerife in 95 on a 737-400. when they where in the old colours. I will always remember it. The most room I had for a charter flight. Also used the second runway at LGW late at night due to the fact the main runway was under repair. What a take off. Wound the bird up and let off the brakes. We catapulted down the runway. Best take off ever. Thanks Futura.
