AA are staring a new route this November. It will be MIA-SSA then SSA-REC then REC-MIA. using a 767-300 (hope they send the T7 on occasions or the 757 with winglets. Apparantley other carriers are looking to open more new routes to REC from 2010. Considering REC has a population of 3,646,204 Metropolitan area its a good idea. I think the route will be succesfull because of the new oil and shipyards at the Suape port complex aboud 30 k south of Recife

Yeah it certainly does. Apart from the daily A330 of TP its mainly 737's and A320 etc. But U heard a rumour that AF have a weekly to CDG. I hav'ent heard of this. But a student of mine went on it to CDG-LHR in June. Love to catch it to see what traffic thry are using.
